Spending our time for sustainability means a lot to us in Isonova.
For example, we look for a way to recycle low quality products, which cannot be sold because of manufacturing defects, as a result of our strict quality controls.
This type of materials, as well as cut-outs resulting from size customization, find a creative application.
It has been years since we donate our low-quality panels to schools, churches and associations, which use it as “free” durable material for their creative projects.
Every time it is surprising for us to find out how children’s imagination and craftmanship can create beautiful objects from waste materials. At the same time, we think that Laminil® could teach them about the recycling process, as well as creativity values arising from recovering materials.
How to get low-quality panels for your educational projects
Teachers and volunteers can send an email to info@isonova.it to verify the material availability and to present to us their projects. If the materials are available, which depends on the production process, the school delegates can visit our plant in Volpiano (near Turin) to collect the panels with a delegation letter issued by their school/association.
In the last years we received several photos and videos of the projects made with Laminil® from schools and associations around Turin. We value these projects by publishing the photos we received on our social media and our newsletters, helping schools and no-profit associations from our territory promoting their initiatives, events and crowdfunding.
We believe that the creation of a sustainable world starts from small initiatives.
